FireLillies are returning back to Bali, this time in collaboration with @thebamboocloset who has literally hand crafted every silk prop you have ever seen me play with!
Some of you may remember that @thebamboocloset couldn’t be at our Silk Fan Retreat 2024 due to injury… so coming together for our 2025 Silk Fan Dance Retreat, in a magical location, is going to be even more special!! We actually met this year for the first time, after working together for 6 years - how wild is that?!

...speaking of retreats, our 2024 Fire Dance Retreat was so incredible - I feel so grateful for this shared adventure! How stunning does FireLily Fam look in the above photo from our video project?!
I provided the costume design of course, but each FireLily wrapped their own look. I love all the creative looks that emerged!
I'm currently in the thick of editing our Fire Video Project for 2024, and I can't wait to share what we co-created together. Honestly I am mind blown by the dedication, creativity and just how inspired our FireLily Fam is - every time! And every group we have is a truly unique blend of awesome humans. I love creating with you all :')

Fireworks Skirt... what should we name it?!

These past few months have been a bit of a whirlwind, I'll be honest (the whole year, really!). One of the most exciting things I've done is a collaboration with Flux Entertainment - we turned my Phoenix Rising Fire Skirt into a sparkle skirt with pyrotechnics!!
The pyro only lasts 60 seconds and is quite involved and costly to set up - so we only had one shot at this video. Without being able to do a practice run, I definitely felt a little pressure before shooting... but it was awesome and I am so excited about how it turned out!
At the moment we are calling it 'Turbo Rising' which really started as a kind of joke...

Though just quietly... I have an entire course filmed and in the process of editing. Adding to the online studio is top of my to do list. So to all my online FireLillies who can't make it to in person events - I haven't forgotten about you! :)
